Hello,

Are your chalks ready for our very first challenge on June 1st?  I hope that you have seen something here at Chalk N Stock, to inspire you to create with any of the chalk products that you may have on hand.  Today I used chalk to color the paper for my focal image, which was white when I started.  But with a cotton ball, and a little muscle (just kidding), I mean rubbing, I created this cool purple background.  I also stamped my image with glue, then I applied chalk. See how easy it is to use chalk on your projects.

Dates to remember:
Blog Hop - May 30th
First Challenge - June 1st

Stamps and Chalk are from Stamp N Plus Scrap N

Thanks for stopping by.

Until next time, Happy Chalking!

You're On My Mind ~ Chalk

This project uses the water and powdered chalk technique
I mixed a micro amount of Stardust powered Chalk with about an ounce of water
in a small spay bottle...
then I stamped my image on my tag...which I think next time I will spray the chalk/water stuff, then stamp the image...
but anyway I used my heat gun to quick dry it...

I hope your dusting off your stash of chalks that you put somewhere
and now you need to find them...heehee

Hello, and Happy Friday!

Are you ready for the weekend?  I am!  But it is going to be a busy one.  Just wanted to share a little chalky goodness with you.  This beautiful shoe and sentiment  are from Unity Stamps.  I stamped the shoe with glue, then I applied powdered chalks.  My sentiment was stamped with ink, and dusted with chalk.  You cant tell from my photo but there is a nice subtle shimmer to both stamped images.  Also, the lovely lace that I used is from Creating Is Fun. I hope that my project today has inspired you to do a little creating this weekend!

Happy To BEE Here...

Well HELLO there!  In attempt to simplify my life and relieve stress I am going to start doing more projects JUST FOR FUN!  This is one of them!

I used Close To My Heart Acrylic Stamps here!  I used Embossing Ink with stamps and brushed over it while wet with the darkest Powdered Chalk available over at Chalk-Ah-Lot.  I also used some shimmer of theirs around the pinkish edges.

Butterflies…

Hi There,

Today I am sharing a quick card with you, where I stamped my image with glue, and then applied chalk.  Not a new technique, but definitely easy, and chalk can be a very inexpensive tool to use if you don’t have many colors of inks or markers.

DSC_0022-WM

I used Ritzy and Ginger Powdered Chalk.  I also used Unity Stamp of the Week – Journey Like No Other.

As you know we are a new challenge blog, and we would love for you to join in the chalk fun with us!
