Get Well...

Hey ya'll, how's it going?
It's been kind of crazy here with me...
sorry I have missed you all...
did you see the new challenge here?
ends the 28th...
go check it out...

This week I wanted to share with you a little card I put together...

so fitting for me right now...as I am feeling under the weather...
so I heat embossed the fire hydrant stamp with red embossing powder
then colored the hydrant with red powdered chalk...
cut it out...
added it to a cool embossed background...
added a sentiment...
there you go...
easy peasy...

Have a great day, I hope you join in the fun...
try our challenge...

A Little Girl

It's Monday and that means a chalk project to showcase. There is a challenge going on at Chalk N Stock called anything goes. All you have to do is use chalk somewhere on your project to enter. The winner gets some digital stamps from Bugaboo Digital Stamps.

Here is my Monday DT Project

I colored most of the little girl using chalks. The dark blue on her dress and headband and the silver on her shoes is colored with metallic markers. To find out more about her and this card, please visit Lorby's World.

Thank you for stopping by today and see you next week.

Chalk N Stock January 2013 Challenge

First off, I need to apologize for getting the challenge up so late in the month. A lot of changes going on at Chalk N Stock but they are all for the good of using chalk and having our challenges run smoothly so please bear with us.

Let's get this next challenge started by announcing last month winner who was chosen by me. The winner is Scrappy and here is a link to her project: http://big-scrappy-world.blogspot.com/2013/01/1-4-freebie-friday-at-bugaboo-stamps.html

All the projects were AWESOME so it was a hard choice. I look forward to seeing what you come up with this month!

Our challenge is called "Anything Goes" and you can do whatever your heart desires as long as there's chalk somewhere on your project.

We'll be offering 5 digital stamps of the winners choice from Bugaboo Stamps. If you haven't checked out their digital stamps, you have to!

Here is some inspiration from our lovely Chalk N Stock design team. Click on the design team member's name for full details on how they used chalk in their cards.

Just a little shimmer…

Hello,

Do you ever feel like your project needs a little something?

Well, that’s exactly what I was thinking as I looked at this quick card.  You see I don’t have a lot time to craft, so my projects have to be fast.  And Stamp N Plus Scrap N – Stardust Powdered Chalk, was the perfect compliment to this card.

I hope that I have inspired to reach for your chalk products the next time your project needs a little something…

I hope that you have a wonderful weekend!

Until next time,

~Tameko ~

Sweet Tweet Note Card

Hello and welcome to Chalk N Stock where we love to use chalks in our projects and hope we inspire others to try them in their creations.

Today I used coloring chalks by Pebbles Inc. to color my digital bird picture and then I also used a chalk ink pad by ColorBox to add the yellowish green color to the outside of the card.

If you would like to see a close up of the chalk coloring I did on this card, please visit Lorby's World and thank you for stopping by today.

The Cat's Meow

Good Morning and I hope you had a safe and fun New Years Eve! Wow am I lucky or what to be able to post on January 1st, 2013. Here is a simple but fun birthday card I made using chalks.

As you can see I used dried chalks for the coloring of my kitty cat and I used ink chalk for the background. To find out more details about this card please visit me at Lorby's World.

Thanks for stopping by and hope to see you soon. Our December challenge is now closed but that only means a new one is on it's way so check in often while we get things organized for the new year and the new challenge.
