Just a little shimmer…

Hello,

Do you ever feel like your project needs a little something?

Well, that’s exactly what I was thinking as I looked at this quick card.  You see I don’t have a lot time to craft, so my projects have to be fast.  And Stamp N Plus Scrap N – Stardust Powdered Chalk, was the perfect compliment to this card.

I hope that I have inspired to reach for your chalk products the next time your project needs a little something…

Tameko's Christmas Card

Hello, and Happy Black Friday!

I did a little bit of shopping today, and I still managed to get into craft space and do a little creating.  And I am glad I did.  Life feels busy crazy already, and my mojo has been a little off.

I used powdered chalk to color my white cardstock for my tree image.  I really like the way the colors blend together.
More details on my blog.

Have a fabulous weekend!

Hello, and Happy Friday!

I used Stamp N Plus Scrap N powdered chalk to color the background for sentiments.  The paper that I used looks like its marbled, and the chalk really enhances it.  These cards came together rather quickly….with a few embellishments!

See my blog for more details on these cards.

Fabulous you!

Hello,

Today I am sharing a fun paper pieced card.  This adorable stamp from Unity Stamps was so easy to paper piece.  I am not the best at cutting out images, so if I say it was easy, I mean it!  I used chalk ink around my image and card base for a little distressing.

Using Chalk To Color Designer Paper

Hello,

For my card today I used Stamp N Plus Scrap N Powdered Chalk to color my designer paper.  The paper that I used was black and white, and I decided to add some green and gold powdered chalk to my background.  This is an easy way to create the perfect paper to accent your project.   I also used Unity Stamps for my focal image.

Tissue box and chalk…

Hello,

Its Friday – Tameko here to share with you!

I have been on the hunt this week for items that I could recycle into my projects.

How do you like my background?

There was not coloring on my part.  It’s a tissue box!

DSC_0002-WM

I used Powder Puff Chalking Ink to edge my card, and for my sentiment.  The recycled tissue box was such an easy addition to this card.

More details on this project here, on my blog.

Do you have anything that you could recycle into a project?

We hope that you join in our “Recycle” challenge.

You can use any image and any kind of chalk on your project.

Bookmarks with chalk!

Hi There,

Today I am sharing a bookmark that is so easy to make.  You could really customize it to your hearts desire.  I wanted to incorporate chalk and lace into this project.  My focal image cardstock was cream colored, and I used Stamp N Plus Scrap N powdered to give it a little character!

Stamping with glue pad and chalk!

Hi There,

I love butterfly stamps!  And my card today features a beautiful butterfly stamp from Unity Stamps, which was stamped with glue and dusted with Stamp n Plus Scrap N powdered chalk.  Have you tried stamping with the Tsukineko glue pad vs. a Versamark pad and using chalk?  I like the depth of image that I tend to get with the glue pad, when using powdered chalk in this fashion.

Friday Sunshine…

Hello,

I hope that you have had a wonderful week!

DSC_0177-WM

I don’t know about you, but sometimes when I sit down to create a project, I just have too many ideas in my head.  Not to mention, too many forgotten products.  For this card I pulled out my  forgotten Faber Castell Aquarelle Pencils to color my image, and then I used powdered chalk to add a little dimension to the edges of the image.  I love the seamless application that can be achieved with the Stamp N Plus Scrap N powdered chalk.  My photo does not pick it up, but my sentiment also has the same chalk applied to the edges.

I hope that I have inspired you to pull out your chalk products, and play!

My address labels and chalk!

Hello Everyone!

Do you ever use office supplies when you craft?  I do….  As a matter of fact I try to find a way to use anything that I can when I craft.  Have you noticed that duct tape, has become so stylish these days.  It comes in some of the most fun patterns.  Well on to my card….I saw a tutorial by Korin – Sweet N Sassy Stamps a very long time ago, where she used address labels and distress inks.  For my card I first colored my address labels with 3 different colors of chalk, then I stamped my image several times.  I absolutely love how this powdered chalk blends!

I hope that I have inspired you to break out all those supplies and create something!

Hello,

Are your chalks ready for our very first challenge on June 1st?  I hope that you have seen something here at Chalk N Stock, to inspire you to create with any of the chalk products that you may have on hand.  Today I used chalk to color the paper for my focal image, which was white when I started.  But with a cotton ball, and a little muscle (just kidding), I mean rubbing, I created this cool purple background.  I also stamped my image with glue, then I applied chalk. See how easy it is to use chalk on your projects.
