Chalk Ink Inspiration

Hello crafters

Dawn here with some mid challenge inspiration.  I'm one of the newbies on the team and I'm finding new ways to use chalks, be they chalk in a pack or my chalk inks... they have all been very sadly neglected for many a year!

Today I want to show you a card I made using VersaMagic Chalk inks

I got a new stamp set from Couture Creations that I was keen to use.  I pulled out my VersaMagic Turquoise Gem and stamped the flower corner.  I added the sentiment from the set with VersaFine Onyx Black.  Once I'd trimmed the panel I went looking for some card to mat it with.  But nothing I had looked good.  Light bulb moment.... use the ink to colour some white card.  The ink went on like chalk!!!!  sorry about that~ couldn't resist.  Truly it was so easy and went so smoothly.  And it matched perfectly.  So once I added it to a 13cm x 13cm base I decided that it didn't need any other embellishment.

So hope this inspires you to pull out your chalks ~ inks, pens or palettes and join our challenge  HERE

Thanks for stopping by
